Announcements:

Fishing Derby's will be moving to the 2nd Saturday of each month for 2009 !!!! Mark your calendars for the date changes. New derby dates proposed are: 1/10, 2/14, 3/14, 4/11, 5/9, 6/13. 7/11, 8/8, 9/12, 10/10, 11/14, and 12/13 - 2009 Contact Roy Lancaster, 209-742-5643, for more info.

Nov 20th Dinner Meeting 7pm ~Election Night On the menu is Turkey Potluck. Tonight is the night to bring your favorite Thanksgiving Dinner side dish. Heather, Sandy and Gloria will be cooking the Turkeys, and Stuffing. Please bring your favorite side dish to share and compliment this Thanksgiving meal.

Nov 29th - Open Range Day - All Ranges will be open to the public from 9am until 3pm. Range Personnel will be on hand for instruction, tips, questions, etc... Range fees are nominal and posted on each range. We will be having a "Hat" draw, so wear your Mariposa Fish and Game hat for a chance to win . We will have Breakfast Pastries, Hot Coffee, Hot Cocoa, Hotdogs, Chili Dogs, Nachos, Candy, Sodas and Water for sale at our "Snack Shack" from 9am-3pm. Nov 29th - Youth Shooting Sports - We will meet on the range 10am to discuss 2009 activities. If you are interested in participating in our Youth Shooting Sports activities, please come out and see what we are about and what is coming up.

Dec 18th - Dinner Meeting and Christmas Party. Ham and all the Fixin's. Santa has scheduled a pre-25th stop out of his busy schedule, so bring out the little ones. Gift exchange, if you're interested in participating, would be $10 or less. Red wrapping for girls and Blue for boys, provided any of you have been good....(ole' Dave out on the range might be a gettin' coal)

Jan 11th - Pancake Breakfast - "Meet and Greet your new Officers and Directors"

Fish and Game Hall - 5056 Darrah Road (Bootjack) From 8am-1pm Your New Officers and Directors will be serving up the flapjacks, an sides. $6 adults $4 children under 10. Breakfast includes- Pancakes, Eggs, Sausage, Biscuit & Gravy and Choice of Juice or Coffee.

Feb 19th - Desert Auction! Sweets for the Sweets - Auctioneer Roy Lancaster will be hawkin' the Pies and Cakes. This is a new fund raiser we are doing this year, so bring out your favorite desert and Roy will get top dollar for 'em. We will not be having a raffle this month, so lets see which desert gets the highest amount for the club!!!!

Great News !! - We have completed installlation of the ceiling fans and outside parking area lightening. No more walks in the dark!!!! We have started the pump house re-construtction and have it framed out. We need the roof done and siding. Then insulated before cold weather sets in, or we are really gonna have some water problems.

Fishing Derbies

Roy Lancaster is our Fishing Derby Man! The Derbies are held at *Lake McSwain. The derbies are held on the *3rd Saturday of each month. *Sign in is at 6am and *Fish at 6:30am. *Weigh in is at 2pm.
