In 2014 Mariposa County Fish and Game started issuing an annual scholarship to qualifying Senior High school Students in Mariposa County. Students are asked to write a brief essay. The essays are submitted to the board for review. In an effort to eliminate any favoritism or bias, the Board must do a "blind" review of each essay and rank them. The name of the winning students essay is not released to the board until they have made their final selection. The Scholarship fund is rebuilt each year through our annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraisers. Because of the communities support we are able to continue to offer the Scholarships.
